Black Snake proudly began in 2002 with their unique Nylon 4WD “snatch um” strop and has since expanded into a wide variety of vehicle recovery, towing and specialty products.
The Kevlar® range, capable of towing and recovering even the largest of mine-site vehicles, short Kevlar® underground mining speciality products and custom designed military strops are just a sample of the possibilities they offer.
The Nylon range is specifically designed to suit the kinetic recovery and towing of small to medium sized vehicles. Even their smallest strops are heavy duty, industrial strength alternatives to webbing snatch straps and kinetic nylon rope.
Black Snake recovery strops are protected by vulcanised industrial rubber, ensuring the strops are uniquely dust, mud, water, oil and abrasion resistant, guaranteeing the product is here for the long haul even under the harshest conditions.

A safe and lightweight alternative to wire rope safety cables.
Bulldozer Y Strop
A specialised heavy duty Kevlar® Y strop designed with Andromeda’s fully welded B fitting for permanent attachment to skid mounted equipment.
Short Kevlar® Recovery Strop
Strops specifically designed for use in underground operations and tight enclosed areas. Lengths start from as short as 300mm. These strops are extensively used in Longwall operations throughout Australia.
Black Snake Y Strops
The light and heavy duty Y strops make an excellent alternative to the current two leg chain or wire rope systems for towing skid mounted equipment. With a Kevlar® core and thick rubber, it is ideally suited to permanent attachment. Ease of handling makes it an integral piece of equipment in and around mining operations.
