Black Snake “U” Type strops have been trusted by the Australian Defence Force since 2018 for reliable vehicle self-recovery. Our new and unique “U” Type Soft Rubber Shackle builds on 25 years of experience in real-world towing and recovery and specialty applications.

Our Soft Shackle design reinforces the robust, practical nature of all our Black Snake product range. Additionally, we prioritise safety, strength and useability as our standout qualities. All Soft Shackles are individually labelled with Safe Use/Care instructions and including embedded RFID for complete traceability.

Featuring a high-strength UHMWPE core, protective impact sleeves, and a thick rubber outer layer, the Soft Rubber Shackle performs exceptionally well in snow, sand, mud and flooded terrain. It connects easily to Black Snake Soft Eye Strops or other aftermarket soft recovery slings and vehicle recovery ropes.

Our Soft Shackles are manufactured using existing, high quality Black Snake components and standard shackle pins and nuts. High flexibility and light weight allow for access into awkward spaces and onto a multitude of attachment devices. Proudly designed and made in Australia.
