Light Duty “Soft Eye Nylon” Y Strop

The Black Snake Light Duty “Soft Eye Nylon” Y Strop provides the user with an opportunity to combine the soft end connections with Black Snake Soft Rubber Shackles or the alternative of after-market soft shackles. The Light Duty “Soft Eye Nylon” Y Strop can be configured with one soft eye (soft eye at head and steel eyes at the two legs) or two soft eyes (steel eye at the head and soft eyes at the legs) or three soft eyes (soft eye at the head and steel eyes at the legs).

Typically, the Light Duty “Soft Eye Nylon” Y Strop is designed for kinetic recovery and towing of vehicles and equipment from around 4 tonnes to 20 tonnes in weight.

 The Black Snake Light Duty “Soft Eye Nylon” Y Strop uses the high strength and high elongation/kinetic type stretch properties of Nylon 6.6 to achieve a unique and lightweight alternative to two leg chain, wire rope sling, fibre sling or rope configurations. It is ideal for light vehicle kinetic recovery and towing with twin point connections, common to 4WD, commercial light vehicles, farm equipment, light military, construction, quarry and mining vehicles. The Nylon core and thick rubber cover make the soft eye Y strop perfect for snow, sand, muddy and flooded terrain. The Soft Eye Nylon Y Strop is UV stabilised, waterproof and can be used underwater as a tie-down or mooring strop.
